Honestly, i typically recoil at electronic beats, but good lord is "Dead-Eyed God" a haunting, beautiful track! It's just delightful to see one of your favorite musicians expanding their palette with such confidence & taste. And of course there's still plenty of J's masterful & tasty guitar on this EP for those of us who can't get enough. ggoston

Another politically charged punk EP in 2016? Yeah. This could've been horrible, but instead it manages to be great. It seems that J. Robbins can always manage to get amazing musicians together to create great music with him. The female vocals are sick too. Feels like early pixies. needsmorerage

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
